From Hussong's Cantina at The Shoppes at Mandalay Place

The margarita was invented at Hussong's Cantina in Ensenada, Mexico in October 1941 by bartender Don Carlos Orozco. The story is on record in the Ensenada Historical Society and was verified by Margarita Henkel herself a few years back. Ingredients:
2 oz. 100 percent Blue Agave Reposado tequila
½ oz. triple sec
1 oz. fresh lime juice
¼ oz. agave nectar
